Safety and community
These guidelines explain how to use Seatzo honestly, protect privacy, coordinate safely and respect every commuter's choice.
Seatzo is a coordination tool, not a metro operator or emergency service. A seat offer may expire or become unavailable. Do not put yourself or others at risk to complete a handoff, and always follow official instructions and local transit rules.
Respect and consent
Seatzo helps commuters coordinate; it does not create an obligation to give up or accept a seat.
During the journey
A successful connection is less important than passenger safety and following instructions from metro staff.
Privacy and location
Travel context and profile information should be used for the intended connection, not to track or identify another person outside the service.
Honest use
Trust depends on seat offers reflecting real intentions and users respecting the service's rules.
Reporting and account action
If something feels unsafe, you do not need to complete a connection. Prioritise your immediate safety first.
